The overgrown graveyard of The Parish Church of St James, Slaithwaite. FlickrFriday theme #GoGreen

Nothing elaborate...but I did use some vintage book text and some Vintage buttons and newspaper on this.

I think this would still work for a man...even though it has a bow!

My new stamps arrived last week, so just playing with them. I don't know if the string that I used in the buttons qualify for the challenge this week, or not. I did recycle it though! Maybe that item is not big enough! Just sharing.....thanks for looking!

#GoGreen FlickrFriday A hook puts you in the woods or sand trap. Slice it, and your in the woods right. Peek and its in the gorse up front, and hit it long and your in the woods again....so best to #GoGreen. No wonder I retired my clubs....

An attempt to use lens coatings to advantage net some colour. green in reflection but with a similar background, 2nd lens, an ineffective small green gel and windows that produce some green so there is some mixing. through the glass can show brilliant vibrant green eyes.

My gogreen is the tree stump from a wine cork cut...( rather sawed with a serrated knife) in half. Stamped cloud backgrounds twice so I could get the dimension on the tree. Used the large circle stamps for shrubs. Colored with Copics. For the tree truck I stamped on cork paper with the woodgrain in brown. Cut the detail in the birds tail. I hope you can see all the glitter. The red cherries and hears plus accents on the owl were colored with a spica glitter pen. Thanks for peeping!

We need to emerge into a world with less plastic waste:

r.linqia.cc/4f0071f

As Alison's Adventures and I have traveled the world, we have been blown away by the amount of plastic waste that is threatening to engulf out world and take over our oceans. Thus we strive to wear, represent, and shoot products that are made out of recycled plastic bottles made from Repreve fabric. They take plastic bottles and recycle them directly into popular brands like Patagonia, Odina Surf, Volcom, and teeki hot pants like Alison is wearing in this photo.

Check out a full list of products made from Repreve at this link - we hope to inspire everyone support this companies so our future generations can continue to travel and play in the sea!

Herds of Ibex are seen migrating in the glacier zone in summers. The area of the sanctuary is about 31.8 square kilometres. The following area was declared as a sanctuary on 26 February 1954, under the Punjab Birds and Wild Animals Protection Act of 1933.

A Flickr Friday submission on the topic "Go Green". The veins of a variegated leaf.

Just lovin this go green challenge...I am a hoarder....and didn't realize how much stuff I had lying around LOL!

Recycled materials: Brown paper from store bags, pink gum wrapper, pink cardboard from perfume, green polka dot cardboard from MM packaging, and pink packaging from bulk gum.

HA stamps: Circular Designs, Curly Alphabet, and Scattered Leafs.

Learned a valuable lesson....versamark stamped images disappear overnight on brown bag material ahhhhh....therefore embossing needed!

Go Green - Smile on Saturday

Summertime green in rainy, humid Central Florida

My sweet hubby and I celebrated our 31st anniversary yesterday! This is the card I made for my wonderful DH.

I have been saving the labels from the forever postage stamps since they first started making them; I was sure I would use them on something. I also recycled some wood veneer for the background. We received a Christmas card made of wood from a cabinet company and of course I had to save it. My DH is a cabinet maker so the wood element just seemed the right way to go.

I can't remember where I got the "love" stamp.

The paper is Que Sera Sera by K&Company.
